Annabel 2-ply Sportweight

The Annabel 2-ply yarn is our newest farm yarn.  Spun just 20 minutes down the road it truly is a fine representation of our local Connecticut fibers. The undyed white is a bright white and the undyed natural color is a deep chocolate brown. We used logwood and weld to produce our colors. These yarns are dyed in slowly in small batches and each one is unique. Sometimes we ‘crowd’ the dye bath to create subtle variations in the color depth.

And the good news is that they compliment the hand-painted yarns of the Down Home Collection, and are the same gauge, so you can create all kinds of colorful heirlooms.
