Wool Filled Comforter

Wool is naturally breathable and hypoallergenic as it repels molds and mildew and works to regulate your body temperature so you get to sleep and stay asleep.  We spend, on average, 1/3 of our life in bed. Surely we want to surround ourselves with natural materials that support our health and are environmentally sustainable!

Our wool from Henny Penny Farm is used to stuff these wonderful comforters (sample is on top in photo). The wool batting is covered with 100% Organic Percale cotton, all sewn and hand-tied here by Brenda. In our home we put a duvet cover over the comforter so that we can regularly wash the cover and there is no need to wash the comforter.

(If you have had a disaster and need to wash your comforter you are better off spot treating it than throwing the entire thing in the wash).
